In celebration of Vancouver’s 125th Anniversary locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy the marvelous views of Vancouver presented in plasticine, “Curly Orli Goes to Vancouver”. This is the first book in the series of “Plasticine Adventures”. This fairy tale celebrates the love of the city we live in and the love of life itself. The main character is a happy, joyful and adventurous girl, Curly Orli.
While flipping through the vibrant pages of this book, the young readers will be able to take a walk through wonderful Vancouver and visit sightseeing places such as Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and English Bay. Also, during this adventure, the readers will befriend a few wild animals: Bunny Arni, Goose Simon, Raccoon Tony and Heron Lilly.
All the illustrations in the book are made from plasticine and then photographed, while the pages resemble a scrapbook and are uniquely designed. The book contains 14 colourful plasticine illustrations and a map with the most sought out places of Vancouver.

“Here came the golden autumn. Warm and sunny days gave way to the gloomy and rainy skies. Yet, large puddles under the feet are no obstacle for a walk. Fall is such an amazing season!” Curly Orli

Spring is the time of nature awakening, and we always enjoy so many vibrant and beautiful colors and shades. Spring is when we celebrate a unique and important for Jewish people holiday – the Passover. Let’s try and make together a festive Passover postcard with a spring butterfly against flowery background. This is the moment when we can unleash our fantasy and imagination! There are so many beautiful butterflies in the world – it is impossible to count. That is why there no strict rules in art projects. All we need is your creativity dear young artists. There is a challenge in this project: you will need to repeat your own design. It is because both wings of the butterfly have to be exactly the same in design and texture.
During Jewish Festival of Lights, Chanukah, we light up candles in special candle holders called Chanukiahs. Chanukiahs come in all kinds of designs, shapes and colors. That is why we will make our own unique Chanukiah. To be more specific, it is going to be a Meowukiah, since our Chanukiah will take a shape of a cat.
For our dear moms on Mother’s Day we will make a plasticine rose. We all know, the best present for every mom is the one prepared by her child’s own hands. – See more at: http://curlyorli.com/tutorials/a-rose-for-mom/
